2009 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
Aromatics – Aromas of roasted coffee, dried flowers, forest floor and raspberry jam rise from the glass as the wine opens up. On the palate there are generous flavors of strawberry and bing cherry followed by hints of black tea and warm spice.
On The Palate – The mid-palate and finish are long and lingering framed nicely by balanced tannins and acidity. This wine will drink wonderfully over the next few years and really comes alive when decanted and given some time to breathe.
