2009 Rouge du Tusque
"Tusque" is an ancient word from a regional French dialect that translates "The Old Lands". Our Tusque wines pay homage to the traditions of the French country life and its long history of understanding food and wine as inseparable.
Tasting Notes: Rich and powerful, the nose shows aromas of dark plums, blackberries, anise and bramble. Additional notes of earth, chocolate and rose petals add complexity. The palate shows generous dark fruit flavors and spices delivered in a rich, mouth coating viscosity framed by ripe, dusty tannins and a subtle, yet firm acidity.
